Donghyuk Kim is a foreign legal consultant of MenSaLaw for South Korean matters. He has represented a wide range of clients in the following industries: video game; internet; apparel & accessories; and consumer goods.

Mr. Kim focuses on corporate law, trademark law and copyright law. He has worked as in-house counsel for Adidas (South Korea) and Nexon Corporation - a leading video game publisher.

Mr. Kim has also worked for the South Korean government particularly in the South Korean Copyright Office and the Copyright Registration Office where he designed and developed Korea's Copyright Online Registration System; audited and streamlined South Korea's IT strategies; examined and registered copyrights and copyright transfers; formulated opinions and interpreted rules for the conciliation committee and the copyright royalty board.

Mr. Kim was a keynote speaker on the topic How to Protect Video Games Under Copyright Laws at the Korean Game Industry Agency Annual Seminar held in Seoul, Korea on November 2004. On October 2002, he presented a lecture to Character Designers in a Seminar organized by the Korean Copyright Office on Character Design and Intellectual Property. He has published several articles in Copyright Culture such as Review of Royalties for Musical Works (June 2004) and Requirement for Proper Citation in a Thesis on Copyright Law (April 2004).

Mr. Kim is a candidate for Juris Doctor at Franklin Pierce Law Center (May 2009). He obtained his Masters in Laws (LLM) degree from Yonsei Graduate School of Law, Yonsei University (August 2003). He received his BA in German Language and Literature from Hanyang University (August 1999).

Mr. Kim is fluent in spoken and written Korean and English.
